  • Only two International Participants may qualify for a final. If more than two International Participants qualify for a final, priority will be given to the qualifiers by time. The top two International Competitors will compete in lanes 0 and 10 in the finals, unless there is not a full US 9 boat final. In that case, International Athletes will compete in the 9 boat final.
  • Athletes must update their USA Canoe Kayak membership prior to registration to be eligible to compete – US athletes must have current USA CANOE KAYAK membership as of August 1, 2009. Entry forms; waivers and all fees must be received in order to compete. (Contact the USA CANOE KAYAK office (704-348-4330, ext 225) or http://www.usacanoekayak.org/members.aspx for USA CANOE KAYAK membership information).
