How the Lanier Canoe and Kayak Club - Southern Winter Games work!
Each Person entering the gate will receive a hand stamp of either a Polar Bear or a Penguin. Tickets for the Games can be purchased either at the ticket booth outside the fence or at the Lanier Harbor Trailer inside the venue. Tickets are $1 each and can be redeemed for Food and for THE SOUTHERN WINTER GAMES.
Each GAME has a Story Board describing the game and how many tickets are needed to play.
In GAMES that require teams, the game official will call for the number of Penguins and the number of Polar bears needed. Penguins and Polar bears will give the game official the required number of tickets. The rules will be stated and the game official will "LET THE GAME BEGIN". Some of the GAMES are timed and some have goals, others are head to head races. The OFFICIALS' ruling on all games is final. If you or your team wins, you will be given a winners chit that can be redeemed at the Lanier Harbor Trailer for a prize.

The team scoring the highest on the round goes first on the next round. Three rounds are played. One ticket to play.
9. SNOWBALL TOSS - Each team makes 10 snowballs. When the official indicates 'go' teams throw snowballs at the snowboards.
