Opening Ceremony

Georgia Mountain Center

September 10, 2003

Doors open at 5:00 PM

Ceremony begins at 6:00 PM

The Opening Ceremonies will showcase the best in music and dance from the Southeastern United States.  The performance will be a cirque style extravaganza, complete with aerialists, and musical selections from classical to bluegrass.  It features the procession of athletes from over 70  countries attending the Lanier Canoe 2003 33rd ICF Flatwater Racing World Championships.

The lobby will open at 5 PM with entertainment by Jennifer Daniels.  The ceremony will start at 6 PM.  Tickets are $25.00, and can be ordered online.
