CONCESSIONS/MERCHANDISE VENDOR APPLICATION
In 1996, Gainesville, Georgia and Lake Lanier hosted the Canoe/Kayak competition for the Atlanta Summer Olympics . As a result, a new world-class Canoe/Kayak venue was born. We extend an invitation to the world to return to Lake Lanier for the World Championships, the qualifying event for the 2004 Summer Olympics.
Since 1996, the Lake Lanier Olympic Center has hosted 20 major events. The Lanier Canoe and Kayak Club has won three national club titles and placed several athletes on national and World Championship teams.
Located fifty miles north of Atlanta and nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Gainesville remains the “hospitality capital of the world,” a designation earned during the ‘96 Olympics.
The Lanier Canoe 2003 Organizing Committee would like to invite you to Gainesville-Hall County and to participate as an Concessions/ Merchandise vendor for the Lanier Canoe 2003 World Championships.
